This month I want to share three things that are happening at Solgave that
I’m genuinely excited about: our growing team, a last-chance dog walking
offer, and the full picture on how we care for your pets (and your home)
while you’re away this summer.
Our Team Is Growing
When I started Solgave, it was just me, a treat pouch, and an old Subaru.
Today I’m proud to say we’re bringing on new Guardians this month to meet
the demand our NWA community has created. Every person who joins this
team goes through our full training program — the operations manual, the
dog walking video, and a 38-question staff quiz that covers everything from
leash mechanics to emergency protocols. Nobody walks your dog until
they’ve proven they get it.
More staff means more availability. If you’ve ever been told we were booked
for the week, those days are getting rarer. We now have broader coverage
across Fayetteville, Springdale, Johnson, and Farmington — including some
early morning and evening slots that used to fill up fast.
Same training. Same values. Same soulful care. Just more of it.
Last Call: Spring Dog Walking Special
Here’s the honest truth — summer schedules shift, and once June hits, our
midday walk slots fill up quickly with pet sitting clients who are out of town.
So if you’ve been thinking about getting your pup on a regular walking
routine, the next two to three weeks are the sweet spot.
Our midday walks and backyard potty breaks are perfect for dogs who need
that mid-afternoon reset while you’re at work. Last week alone our team
logged over 90 visits — walks, potty breaks, and check-ins — and every
single one came with a full photo report so our clients never have to wonder
how their best friend’s day went.

Heading Out This Summer? Here’s How We’ve Got You Covered
This is the big one.
Every May we start hearing the same question: “What
exactly does pet sitting look like?” So let me walk you through it, because
it’s more than just stopping by to fill a bowl.
Our pet sitting visits follow what we call a Visit Rhythm. Your morning visit
sets the tone — fresh water, a proper meal, outdoor time, and a full check
on how your pet is feeling. Midday we’re back for a walk or potty break,
playtime, and enrichment. The evening visit winds things down with dinner,
a final walk, and settling in for the night. Every visit includes at least six
photos in your report card so you can see your pet happy and relaxed, even
from a beach chair three states away.
For clients who want that extra peace of mind, we offer Overnight Care.
One of our Guardians stays at your home for a minimum of 10 consecutive
hours — sleeping there, being present if your dog gets anxious at night, and
handling that critical last-out and first-morning routine. It’s the closest
thing to you being home.
And new this year: if you’re traveling and don’t have pets but want someone
keeping an eye on your house, our Plant & Home Care service covers mail
and package collection, thermostat checks, light and curtain rotation to
make the house look lived-in, and of course, watering your plants. We do a
full walkthrough with you before you leave so we know exactly what every
plant needs and where every spare key lives.
