July Notes!
We want to send out a thank you to our staff first and foremost! Kim, Kendall, and Kailan all worked a lot last month. Kim has moved a couple hours away, and mat help us start something up in Harrison area but we are grateful for the love she gave animals while she was here!
Kendall is our newest and is stepping up to the plate fast, handling several new clients and already receiving her first 5 start review that mentioned her by name!
Kailan is my lead, and oldest employee. She may help us in August with some grass roots marketing as we continue to expand our reach a little, and I am working on some backend improvements, digital marketing, and preparing us for a switch to software by end of October.
It’s been a long time coming, is labor intensive to get us there but will be so worth it. We added 44 families last year and are trending to do 40 more this year as we close out July! That’s a lot of new families for one city!
Still seeking a West and East Springdale staff member to help us grow north!
We currently serve Farmington, Fayetteville, and Johnson! Some of our clients do live on the edge of Elkins, towards Goshen, or S Springdale and we do care for them! Anything outside of 5 miles from our service area gets a 3$ fuel surcharge that goes straight to sitter!
Gas prices are creeping up again, so with fuel and time driving being a huge expense for us, our sitters appreciate it!
I say in the welcome letter we send new clients, staff can get tips directly to their venmo or Cashapp and they keep 100% of that. Only for service that exceeds expectations, but they appreciate it when its warranted!
I send them a cash bonus with their weekly pay if a client reviews our business on Google or Facebook and recommends them by name!
We are growing, seeking to improve, and hope by Thanksgiving this year we are light years ahead of where we are now in late July 2023!
Our hope is not necessarily to be the biggest in NWA, but to be the one with the most unique voice and mission statement driving us towards our dreams.
Too hot for any community pack walks, but after the year we have had I hope we pull off two nature themed walks this Fall!
