☀️ Summer Is Here… and Vacation Season Is Officially Underway

Every year around June, our schedules begin to shift. Families start planning lake weekends, beach trips, weddings, family reunions, and Fourth of July vacations.

One of the questions we hear most often is:

“How exactly does pet sitting work?”

The short answer is simple:

We build a customized plan around your pets, your home, and your routine.

Whether you need someone to simply let the dogs out during the workday or you’re leaving for a two-week vacation, our goal is always the same:

Peace of mind.

🐾 Two More Weeks: Summer Midday Promo

We’re extending our Summer Midday Promotion for just two more weeks.

This special is designed for new families who have been curious about professional dog walking or backyard potty breaks but haven’t taken the leap yet.

When you purchase one of our 20-visit packages, you’ll receive the previous package pricing from before our spring rate increase.

Why we love this program:

  • Perfect for busy work schedules.
  • Great for puppies and senior dogs.
  • Helps break up long days home alone.
  • Gives your pets exercise, enrichment, and consistency.
  • Packages don’t expire for a full year.

Many families only use one or two visits each week. Others use us every workday.

You decide the schedule—we simply help make life easier.

Our 20-visit packages already provide one of the best values we offer all year, and this promotion allows new clients to try the program at the deepest discount we’ll likely offer again this year.

These summer openings happen because many of our university families and teachers take seasonal breaks, creating room for new households to join our routes.

🚶‍♂️ Our Midday Program

About 70–75% of what we do is midday dog walking and backyard potty breaks.

It’s the heart of our business.

Unlike companies that rely on one person covering everything, our routes are built around a team approach.

Currently, our midday program is managed by:

  • Jared (Owner & Founder)
  • Kailan
  • Sara
  • Casey

Over time, two or three team members usually become familiar with your pets and your home. That creates consistency while also allowing our staff to take vacations, handle emergencies, or simply enjoy a day off without disrupting your service.

We believe taking care of our team allows them to take even better care of your pets.

After more than a decade in business, I can honestly say this is the strongest, most supportive team we’ve ever had.

✈️ Traveling This Summer? Here’s How Pet Sitting Works.

Our travel services are designed to fit almost any home and pet family.

Some clients simply need a few daily drop-ins.

Others prefer the comfort of having someone actually stay overnight.

Overnight Care

Our overnight service includes:

  • Evening arrival (typically between 7:00–8:00 PM)
  • A full evening care session
  • Staying overnight in your home
  • Morning feeding, potty break, medications, and update before leaving

Communication Matters

Before bed, you’ll receive a detailed evening update with photos and notes covering:

  • Meals
  • Water
  • Potty breaks
  • Medication
  • Playtime
  • General behavior

Many newer clients tell us these updates become one of their favorite parts of traveling.

What About During the Day?

Many overnight families also schedule one or two midday visits.

A typical vacation schedule might look like:

7:30 PM: Evening arrival and overnight stay.

Morning: Breakfast, potty break, report, and departure.

Midday: One 20- or 30-minute drop-in for exercise, potty, litter boxes, feeding, or medications.

Evening: Return for another overnight.

Some homes with dog doors or highly independent pets may not need any additional daytime visits at all.

Every family is different, and we’ll help you build a plan that fits.

🐓 More Than Just Dogs and Cats

One thing our longtime clients know:

Never underestimate what our team can accomplish in 30 minutes.

We’ve handled:

  • Chickens and ducks
  • Outdoor feeding stations
  • Automatic feeders
  • Litter boxes
  • Medications
  • Multiple dogs
  • Senior pet routines
  • Puppy energy sessions

Our pricing is based on the time required to do the job well.

We move methodically, communicate clearly, and make sure your animals receive the attention they deserve.

❤️ A Team That Stays

One of the things we’re most proud of is how we structure our business.

Each overnight sitter can comfortably care for up to three vacation families at a time. That allows them to earn a solid paycheck while still having the time and energy to provide excellent care.

We pay our staff every Friday.

Every dollar of gratuity submitted through Time To Pet is automatically allocated to the team members who completed the visits.

Clients are also welcome to tip directly through cash or Venmo if they prefer, but there is never any expectation or obligation.

Our philosophy has always been simple:

Take care of the team, and the team will take care of the pets.

Looking Ahead

With Genoah and Tim joining our pet sitting team and Casey recently moving into a full-time role, we’re excited to be welcoming new clients again.

We’ve been serving Northwest Arkansas since 2013, and without question, this is the strongest team we’ve ever assembled.

If summer travel is on your calendar—or if you’re simply tired of rushing home during the workday to let the dog out—we’d love to help.

You can text us directly, submit a request through the website, or click the “Book Now” button to start the conversation. (479) 304-9888

Most inquiries receive a same-day response, and we guarantee a reply within 24 hours.

Thank you for trusting us with your homes, your routines, and the animals you love.
